Created by perfumer Chris Maurice, Rebus explores the darker, more enigmatic side of oud. The opening is luminous, with bergamot, lemon, galbanum and orris lending a green, faintly powdery lift. Lavender, violet and the first oud facets shape a heart that turns increasingly mysterious, while sandalwood, amber, musk and oud anchor the base with lasting warmth and an intimate, almost meditative depth. Presented as an extrait de parfum, it suits evening wear, cooler seasons and customers looking for a signature scent well outside the mainstream.
