JOOP! Homme Eau de Toilette was launched in 1989 and remains one of the brand's defining men's scents, composed by perfumer Michel Almairac. It opens on a bright citrus accord of bergamot, lemon and mandarin softened by orange blossom. The heart pairs floral notes of jasmine, lily of the valley and heliotrope with the spicy warmth of cinnamon and cardamom. Sandalwood, patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla form the base, deepened by honey, tobacco and vetiver for the sweet-spicy signature the fragrance is known for. Longevity and intensity are rated high, with a clearly noticeable trail. The juice sits in a slim, angular bottle whose vivid pink liquid deliberately breaks with traditional masculine codes.
