Roma Uomo is the masculine counterpart to the Roma women's fragrance and translates the spirit of the Eternal City into a woody-oriental composition by perfumer Annick Ménardo. It opens with grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot, sharpened by the aromatic herbs basil and laurel for a bright, energising start. The heart brings together heliotrope, jasmine, juniper berry, pine and rose geranium, adding a spicy-green depth with a subtle floral facet. In the drydown, sandalwood, cedarwood, vanilla, amber, massoia wood, patchouli, benzoin and musk build a warm, sweet and earthy signature with convincing yet unobtrusive sillage. The character is often described as elegant and sensual, suited to daily wear, the office and evening occasions across all seasons. The juice is presented in an oval, ribbed frosted glass bottle with a terracotta-toned cap that echoes classical Roman architecture.
