Created in 1996 by perfumer Jacques Huclier, A*Men remains one of the defining oriental-woody scents in the men's category. It opens crisp and cool with mint, bergamot, lavender, coriander and green nuances, then moves into a sweet, enveloping heart of honey, caramel, milk, jasmine, patchouli and cedarwood. The base layers tonka bean, vanilla, coffee, amber, benzoin, sandalwood and musk for a deep, sensual dry-down. High intensity and strong longevity make it an evening signature, particularly suited to the autumn and winter season. The 50ml presentation is refillable, and the formula has been kept unchanged while the house now trades under the Mugler name.
